Jennifer DeMello serves as the Chief Operating Officer at the Law Offices of Bello and Morton, bringing more than a decade of experience in the insurance industry and a natural talent for leadership, organization, and client experience. Her path to the firm was unexpected but perfectly aligned. During a transitional moment in her career, Attorney Jilian Morton jokingly declared at their favorite spot, Good Life Nutrition, that Jen was joining the team. The rest truly is history.
Jen oversees the firm’s operations, branding, and internal systems, ensuring that every client receives a smooth, supportive, and well organized experience from start to finish. She is known for her thoughtful approach to workflow design, her ability to create clear and accessible client materials, and her commitment to keeping the firm’s service both strategic and deeply human.
For Jen, helping the community begins with education. She believes knowledge empowers families and that many people simply do not realize how important it is to have proper legal documents in place. She brings warmth, patience, and genuine care to the work, making sure clients feel understood and encouraged.
Outside the office, Jen spends as much time as possible with her friends and family. She loves quality time with her daughter and travels often to North Carolina to visit her son, who is proudly serving in the United States Marines. Weekends usually include good food, laughter, and adventures with the people she loves most.
Jen’s advice to anyone starting an estate plan is to read, learn, and then choose a team you trust. Planning early is always worthwhile and the best plans grow and change with you throughout your life.
